we are the leg...........march 2008.....our record with paul vickers'tropical favourites'is now available from SL records,itunes etc.....jolly good reviews in the list,record collecter,Q,the skinny,mojo etc........SL have also released a khaya best of thingymajig called 'is/are/was' which you can get from itunes......................WHAT HAPPENED TO THE SHRUNKEN TINA TURNER? is now very near completion and it is the best record we have made.it will be available soonish.we will be playing songs from it at the scottish hobo society in edinburgh on the 30th march..................the policehorseshop is slowly burning..................

......summer 2007........we are pleased to announce that aswell as learning to play the spoons and winning the'being nice to friends and family after six days of whiskey championships'the khaya/desc wotsit is tango-ing joyfully on(like leopard tortoise) as the leg.8 songs by the leg(a musical tribute to the forest of dean)is available now on clear 12"vinyl and download(see the shop)visit our myspace page to listen to songs from it plus demos and other things we've done/are doing.we are also drinking to celebrate the completion of 'paul vickers and the leg sing tropical favourites'-it was recorded at muirhouse farmhouse in edinburgh by the very terrifying general pumpkin over the first half of 2007.we were lucky one day and the sun put his best hat on and we recorded a song in the garden,much to the delight of people waiting for the 31 bus i.e it was fun and features general pumpkin in an ecstatic sing-a-long with paul and the leg.a single-RIO/chime chime cherry is going to be released on sl records later this year and 'tropical favourites'll be available in february 2008,also on sl records.we've started work on a cd of tina turner songs working title-the leg sing tina turner and an experimental performance/cd maybe, called policehorseshop...also look out for new recordings by the plague,saint judes infirmary,thomas truax and the legtanglist,all featuring members of the leg.

here's some facts about the forest of dean and pandas- butterflys of note are the small pearl bordered fritillary,wood white and white admiral/pandas hate fucking/wild boar have been re-introduced and are growing in numbers/my auntie made us panda masks/ gorsty knoll is famed for its glow-worms and woorgreens lake for its dragonflies/alun has a panda tattoo/the forest of dean has the lowest average IQ of any area in britain.
